East Boulder Fuels Reduction Project

Custer Gallatin National Forest Sweet Grass, Montana Big Timber Ranger District

The primary purpose is to reduce fuel loadings in the East Boulder Corridor to reduce the probability and intensity of a severe wildfire, public and fftr safety,safety of employees at the East Boulder Mine, evacuation and secondary goals.

Location

East Boulder Corridor including the Dry Fork Drainage. Includes both sides of FSR 205 for approx. 6 miles including near the East Boulder Mine
