The Flathead National Forest is reviewing a request to upgrade existing telephone facilities and copper cables to fiber optic. In addition, the proposal includes provisions to extend these services to new service areas.

Along Star Meadows Road (539), Sanko Pit Road (10360), and two road segments under special use permits for private property access (50801 and 50842)
