The purpose of this project is to improve the diversity and resilience of terrestrial ecosystems and vegetation, reduce fire behavior near communities within the wildland-urban interface, and produce forest products to contribute to the economy.
Location
The East Valley Fuels Reduction Project is located east of Kalispell, MT along the east side of Flathead Valley. The project extends from Columbia Falls to Swan Lake.
