Flathead National Forest Missoula, Montana Flathead National Forest All Units

A project to salvage trees affected by the mountain pine beetle on an estimated 1309 acres of NFS lands. Project will utilize 0.8 miles of existing road, 0.5 miles of skid trails and 3.1 miles of temporary road construction to access affected timber.

Location

National Forest System lands south of Holland Lake to the hydrologic divide adjacent to the Lolo National Forest in the Swan Valley; east of Highway 83 including areas adjacent to Pierce Lake.
