Blacktail Hills Project

Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest Judith Basin, Montana Judith Ranger District

Thinning to remove primarily Douglas-fir encroachment to promote the existing ponderosa pine across the project area. This proposal also includes prescribed burning for wildlife habitat maintenance, stand improvement and to reduce fuel loadings.
