Dry Pole Mule Deer Winter Range Enhancement

Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest Judith Basin, Montana Judith Ranger District

This project seeks to reduce timber cover along the NE side of the of the Dry Pole drainage by hand slashing and lopping small conifers (<5" dbh) to reduce competition for moisture and to increase the availabity of browse and forb species.
