This analysis identifies the visitor use capacity on National Forest System lands only, on the Nez Perce National Historic Trail to assist in the protection and management of trail resources.

Location

The Nez Perce National Historic Trail is approximately 2,184 miles, extending from the vicinity of Wallowa Lake in eastern Oregon to the Bear Paw Battlefield, about 16 miles south of Chinook, MT.
