The project purpose is to improve forest resistance and resilience to insects, disease, fire, and drought by reducing tree density and increasing size class diversity across the landscape, reduce fuel loadings and improve soil restoration.
Location
The project is located north and west of Libby, Montana in the Bobtail and Lower Pipe Creek area, west of Highway 37 and north of the Kootenai River Road.
