Project proposes to salvage blown down, root sprung, and dead or dying larch, lodgepole pine, spruce and subalpine fir to contribute to a supply of timber for local needs, reduce high fuels accumulations and control insect and disease.

project is located in the Sutton Creek drainage of the Kootenai River watershed about 12 air miles southwest of Eureka and 11 air miles south of Rexford, Montana.
