Yaak River Suction Dredging

The purpose of this project is to analyze the potential environmental effects of proposed small scale suction dredging operations on approximately 1.5 miles of the Yaak River and respond to the claimants' Plans of Operations submitted to the KNF.

Location

Suction dredging is proposed to occur on an approximately 1.5 mile stretch of the Yaak River below Yaak River Falls on the Three Rivers Ranger District.
