Salvage of approximately 208 acres of dead and dying lodgepole pine burned as part of the Gold Hill Fire suppression effort. Salvaged material would contribute to a supply of post and pole materials for a local market.
Location
The project area is located approximately 15 miles north of Libby, Montana in the Schafer Creek drainage, northwest of Gold Hill.
