The project improves motorized and non-motorized recreational opportunity within the Allen Peak Inventoried Roadless Area in the Vermilion River drainage and improves grizzly bear habitat in Bear Management Unit 8.

Location

Project is located in the southeast portion of the Cabinet Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest, in the Vermillion River drainage, approximately ten miles east of Trout Creek, Montana.
