West Tensleep Corridor Master Recreation Project

Bighorn National Forest Big Horn, Wyoming Powder River Ranger District

This project involves moving developed campgrounds and dispersed camp sites away from water, human waste management, and Wilderness Trailhead actions to protect water quality of the municipal watershed of West Tensleep drainage.

Location

West Tensleep is 1/2 way between Worland and Buffalo,near Meadowlark Lake and Deer Haven Resort. A Forest Service road goes north from US 16 to a dead end at the trailhead and campground on the shores
