Bighorn National Forest Sheridan, Wyoming Tongue Ranger District

Create a diverse and healthy forested ecosystem by implementing a variety of vegetation and prescribed burn treatments. Treatments will enhance resiliency to insect/disease outbreaks and reduce the potential for large-scale wildfire.

Location

Along the Black Mountain Road corridor from US Highway 14 to the south and east and along the Taylor Mine Road corridor up toward the old Gloom Creek Timber Sale.
