To provide ponderosa pine regeneration within portion of the Jasper Fire area that burned in year 2000. The high fire intensity left vast areas deforested, with no available seed source for regeneration.
Location
Approximately 13 miles southeast of Newcastle, Wyoming or 16 miles northwest of Custer, SD, north of US Hwy 16 (maps in project description).
