The purpose and need of this project are to increase the resiliency of the project area to wildfire and forest health threats from insects and disease using a variety of commercial and non-commercial treatments.
Location
The Pactola Vegetation Management Project area lies approximately 10 miles west of Rapid City, South Dakota, just west of Pactola Lake.
