Vegetation treatments to reduce fuel and fire hazards resulting in a more resilient landscape. Treatments will include commercial and noncommercial thinnings, pine encroachment, fuel breaks, and prescribed burning.
Location
The project area is located along the South Dakota-Wyoming line, approximately 27 miles northwest of Custer, SD and 16 miles northeast of Newcastle, WY.
