Telephone Draw Travel Management Project

Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests Montrose, Colorado Norwood Ranger District

Implementation of the 2002 Travel Plan for the Uncompahgre National Forest within the project boundary in order to: improve big game habitat effectiveness, reduce soil compaction, and improve hydrologic function.

Location

The project area is defined as the Cottonwood Creek Watershed. The project area center lies appproximately 13 miles west of Nucla, Colorado, and 11 miles north of Norwood, Colorado.
