The goal of this proposal is to improve Gunnison Sage-grouse habitat on Forest Service lands that are designated as unoccupied critical habitat on the North Uncompahgre plateau over the next 10 years by proactive habitat improvements.

Location

The project area is the northeastern area of the Uncompahgre Plateau that contains continuous sage parks and grouse habitat. This is part of the Grand Valley Ranger District.
