The Steamboat Rock Prescribed Fire is a continuation of the Grand Junction Watershed Initiative that has been in progress since 2008.
Location
The treatment area is located on the Grand Valley Ranger District portion of the Grand Mesa National Forest. Access is via County Route 100 (Lands End Road) (see map).
