Rock Creek Restoration and Trailhead Relocation

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Park, Colorado Pike and San Isabel National Forests and Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands All Units

The project will relocate the Rock Creek trailhead to the Colorado Trail junction on NFSR 133 for sustainability. NFSRs 814 and 133 would be closed beyond the trailhead. Restoration activities will take place along the Rock Creek riparian corridor.

Location

The location is on National Forest Land 6 miles East of Jefferson in the northwestern-most part of the Lost Creek Wilderness area on the South Park Ranger District of the Pike National Forest.
