Thinning and patch cutting pinyon pine to create foraging habitat for big game (mule deer, elk, and bighorn sheep). Reduce fuel loads and create a more diverse vegetative landscape. Address erosion and sedimentation issues and protect bat habitats.

Three miles northeast of Buena Vista, CO east of CR 371.
