IREA Kenosha Pass to Roberts Tunnel Powerline Rebuild

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Park, Colorado South Platte Ranger District

IREA proposes to rebuild and upgrade an existing 44-kilovolt(kV) transmission line to 115 kV from the west side of Kenosha Pass near Jefferson, CO to the Roberts Tunnel Power Generation Station near Grant, CO.

Location

The rebuild area involves approximately 6.1 miles length of National Forest System lands in a 50' width right of way, associated temporary access routes, and 2.4 miles of other lands.
