USAF Academy Adventure Based Expeditionary Skills (ABEST)cadet training.

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands El Paso, Colorado Pikes Peak Ranger District

The USAF Academy is proposing to conduct annually June 1 through August 1 cadet ABEST training. Training will occur six times for a 36 hour period for 190 cadets each event. Cadets will navigate to GPS waypoints in the National Forest.

Location

Northwest of Colorado Springs in the Rampart Range area. Training would be west of the USAF Academy and north of Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area.
