Due to increasing demand for winter recreation activities, the FS proposes to develop up to 5 miles of marked ski trails for cross country & skate skiing, snowshoeing, & fat-tire biking in the headwaters of Monarch Park near Monarch Pass.
Location
The Monarch Park area provides a moderate grade & level area for groomed ski/bike trails. CDOT plows a large parking area on nearby Hwy 50 at the TH for these proposed system trails.
