The proposal would restore approx. 24.0 acres of NFS lands utilizing appx. 524,000 cubic yds of NFS fill material to backfill the quarry and stabilize the landslides, along with the complete revegetatation of the site by seeding and tree planting.
Location
The project area is located on the disused Pikeview Quarry in northwest Colorado Springs in the foothills of the Rampart Range.
