Rampart Fuel Break

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Douglas; El Paso, Colorado Pike and San Isabel National Forests and Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands All Units

The purpose of this project is to establish and reinforce fuel breaks along roads in high priority areas to reduce the hazard of high-severity wildfires in communities neighboring the project area.

Location

The South Platte and Pikes Peak Ranger Districts would construct a fuel break along the Dump Road, Highway 67, and Rampart Range Road.
