Badger Flats Prescribed Burning Project

Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands Park, Colorado South Park Ranger District

The primary purpose of the project is to return fire to the vegetation communities within the project area which would improve timber stands, wildlife habitat, and rangeland conditions.

Location

The proposed project would occur around Forest Service Roads (FSR) and county roads (segments around FSR 31, FSR 223, and FSR 225) to the north U.S. Highway 24 and east of Badger Mountain.
