Special Uses - CDOT Avalanche Control Gun Pads

San Juan National Forest San Juan, Colorado Columbine Ranger District

Installation of up to four 23' x 23' x 10" concrete pads for holding an avalanche control gun. Avalanche control is currently occurring, but the concrete pads will provide more stable platforms for the equipment.

Location

North end of the Old Lime Creek Road about 100 feet off of US Highway 550. Three other locations to be determined.
