Fuels - Valle Seco Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project

San Juan National Forest Archuleta, Colorado Pagosa Ranger District

Fuels reduction on up to 2,800 acres in Valle Seco area. Treatments done by mechanically mowing & shredding shrubs & small trees, and/or felling trees by hand or machinery. Material removed as saw logs, firewood, post/pole, biomass, or left on site.
