This project would mechanically and manually cut select trees across approximately ~3,000 acres and prescribed burn to address issues of beetle infestation and spread and restore the area.
Location
The project area is located north of AZ State Highway 260 and to the northwest of the Town of Springerville, AZ and encompasses Greens Peak. The project area covers approximately 2,975 acres.
