Willow Wash Grassland Management

Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests Navajo, Arizona Black Mesa Ranger District

Approximately 2,629 acres of great basin grassland is proposed be treated for woody species encroachment using mechanical treatment methods such as mastication. Woody canopy cover will be reduced to 10% or less to meet ASNF LMP desired conditions.

Location

North of HWY 260 and south of HWY 277, north and northwest of the unincorporated community of Clay Springs
