Forest-wide Wildflower Planting for Pollinators and Traditional Uses

Gila NF proposes a series of plantings to address: 1) need to increase availability of traditional use plants for utilization by the Tribes that partner w/ the Forest & 2) need to protect & expand upon the availability of habitat for pollinators.

Location

Forest-wide. One-acre plots will be selected in areas that fall outside designated wilderness, & will occur only where there will be no negative impacts to federally listed species and cultural sites.
