Sierra Electric Cooperative, Inc. has applied to modify their permit to construct and operate 0.8 miles of re-routed segment of the powerline across NFS lands and upgrade the entire line to 14.4Kv. The old poles and lines would be removed.

Location

The powerline runs from Cuchillo Substation off forest and mostly parallels Hwy 59 on Forest. The re-route site is located approx. 1.5 miles east of Poverty Creek parallel to Hwy 59
