Upper Cherry Creek Wet Meadow Habitat and Enhancement Project

Gila National Forest Grant, New Mexico Silver City Ranger District

The wet meadow has been affected by flows from areas burned by the 2014 Signal Fire and 2020 Tadpole Fire. This project is to hydrologically stabilize the meadow, rewet the site, and restore riparian vegetation to the system.
