Luna Planning Area User-Created Routes Decommissioning

Gila National Forest Catron, New Mexico Quemado Ranger District

Over the last several years concerns have been heard on increase of user created routes. These routes are primarily associated with illegal wood cutting or off-road motorized vehicle use. Proposal is to decommission user-routes in Luna Planning Area

Location

Proposed work would occur in the Luna Planning Area which extends south of Luna to the Dry Blue; north to the district boundary, west to the stateline, and east of Centerfire Creek (see map)
