Proposal has multiple vegetation treatment types including mechanical thinning, hand thinning, herbicide application, and prescribed fire in order to protect the Wildland Urban Interface from wildfire.

Location

The analysis area is 31,850 ac. The area is a continuous unit stretching from Bear Mountain in the south, LS Mesa in the west, Bear Creek in the north, and Highway 15 and Little Walnut to the east
