Gila National Forest Catron; Grant, New Mexico Wilderness Ranger District

Reroute 2 segments of trail within Gila Wilderness along West Fork of the Gila and Turkey Creek and construct a trail to connect the trailhead to the Military Road trail, which would remove hikers from having to hike on Hwy 15.

Location

From the Gila Cliff Dwellings - Military Trail is approx 8 mi south; West Fork Gila trail is approx 17 miles upstream. The Turkey Creek trail is approx 20 miles NE of Gila, NM
