Lincoln National Forest Lincoln, New Mexico Smokey Bear Ranger District

The Smokey Bear Ranger District is proposing to open 148 acres of pinyon-juniper woodland to commercial and/or personal fuelwood harvesting, and perform manual and mechanical thinning on an additional 50 acres.

Location

Along the north side of Forest Service Road 120 between Eagle Creek and Hightower Mountain approximately 5 miles northeast of Ruidoso, NM.
