Dalton Day Use River Restoration Project

Santa Fe National Forest San Miguel, New Mexico Pecos-Las Vegas Ranger District

The proposed project will improve water quality and fish habitat be restoring the river channel to a more natural condition, reducing turbidity, attenuating flow energy during future flooding, and reducing downstream water temperatures.

Location

Project area is along the Pecos River at the south end of the Santa Fe National Forest Dalton Say Use Area in Pecos Canyon.
