The Cow Creek Riparian Habitat Restoration Project would improve water quality and fish habitat by restoring riparian areas, reducing erosion and turbidity from access points and unstable streambanks.

Location

This site in general is located along Forest Road (FR) 92, approximately 30 creek miles north of the confluence with the Pecos River and approximately 6-8 miles north-northeast of the Village of Pecos (T 17N, R 12E, Sections 26 and 35).
