The Purpose of the American Park Project is to improve forest ecosystem resilience by implementing restoration treatments including, prescribed burning, thinning, treating disease infestations (dwarf mistletoe) and meadow enhancement.

This project is located on the Cuba Ranger District in Sandoval and Rio Arriba Counties approx. 8.5 miles east of Cuba, NM.
