Hitching Rock Water System

Tonto National Forest Gila, Arizona Payson Ranger District

Use two existing wells to supply water to 10 storage tanks (2500-10000 gal) and 10 troughs to provide water for livestock, wildlife, fire suppression. Approx. 4 miles of poly pipe will be placed above ground to link wells to tanks and troughs.

wells are adjacent to Forest Road 406 on the Payson Ranger District; water system is southwest of Snowstorm Mountain
