Saguaro Lake Fish Habitat Enhancement Project

Tonto National Forest Maricopa, Arizona Mesa Ranger District

The Arizona Game and Fish Department and its partners propose to place fish habitat structures in Saguaro Lake over the next 10 years. The plan includes the use reef ball structures to attract and assist in creating a better fishery.

Location

Various lakebed locations including; near fishing piers (3), Camper, Burro, Homestead, and Hidden Coves, Meadows, Skunks Wash, Blackwell and Premier Bays, and Bagley Shelf.
