This project would focus on restoration of fire adapted ecosystems, including mechanical thinning and prescribed burning to accomplish landscape restoration objectives as proposed by the Tribe that are on the Tonto National Forest and Tribal Land.
Location
Western Globe Ranger District; implement an adaptive management strategy on about 115,000 acres in the Upper Gila Sub-Basin watershed over the next five to ten years.
