The purpose of this project is to use prescribed fire to improve timber stand conditions and wildlife habitat by reducing catastrophic fire hazard and natural fuel build-up.

Location

The proposed project area is located approximately 10 air miles east of Young, AZ with it's western boundary on Cherry Creek and eastern boundary at the Fort Apache Reservation.
