Emory Oak Restoration

Tonto National Forest Coconino; Gila; Yavapai, Arizona Red Rock Ranger District

Forest Service in partnership with the Yavapai-Apache Nation, Tonto Apache, San Carlos Apache, and White Mountain Apache tribes are developing proposals to manage and restore culturally important Emory oak groves.

Location

Eight Emory oak groves on Coconino National Forest's Red Rock Ranger District and one grove on the Tonto National Forest's Payson Ranger District.
