The primary purpose of this project is to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire to private property. This fuel break will also provide fire managers with an anchor point for future fire management or prescribed fire activities.
Location
The Greenback Fuels Treatment is located on the Tonto Basin Ranger District along FR 71, FR 236, Greenback Creek, and Oak Creek. The project area borders private property.
