Williams Creek Project

Boise National Forest Valley, Idaho Emmett Ranger District

This project would use a combination of commercial and non-commercial thinning and fuel reduction activities to improve forest resiliency from insect and disease disturbance, while promoting large, early-seral tree species and wildlife habitat.

Location

The Williams Creek Project area covers approximately 3,158 acres in the Williams Creek-North Fork Payette River sub-watersheds, west of Highway 55, between Banks and Smiths Ferry, Idaho.
