Indian Creek Dam Removal

Payette National Forest Valley, Idaho Krassel Ranger District

An old water system dam at the Krassel Work Center administrative site would be removed to restore fish passage and natural flows. The 3 ft high dam on Indian Creek provided culinary and irrigation water to the admin site and is no longer needed.

Location

The project is located at the Krassel Work Center Administrative Site on the South Fork Salmon River Road. The Krassel Work Center is approximately 19 air miles east of McCall, Idaho.
